With all standard features of a 1200 C split tube furnace like best in class insulation, fast heating and cooling, uniformity of temperature and customized temperature gradients, 1400 C furnace with high temperature and inert 99.5% Alumina tube make possible a number of applications like ageing, annealing, brazing, calcination, catalyst research, CIM, coating, CVD, degassing, drying, hardening, MIM, miniplants, pyrolysis, sintering, soldering, sublimation, synthesis, tempering, test fuel cells and thermocouple calibration. A number of gas purging, vacuum, in-situ temperature measurement and in-situ sample pushing and pulling options make these furnace suitable for plethora of controlled atmosphere experiments. With a range of SiC heating elements available as option it is possible to provide continuous working temperatures of 1500 C. These furnaces are very flexible in terms of work tube which can be easily changed for processing different materials.

    The 1200 C single and multiple zone split tube furnace is one of the most sought after furnace range for their adaptability and versatility. For heating it utilizes free radiating wire elements embedded within the insulation of the furnace body. Its flexibility is that with the use of tube adapters the same furnace can be used with a variety of tube diameters. The insulation boards are light weight, energy efficient and shaped in interlocking fashion by CNC machining. The interlocking design feature ensures zero radiation loss even after years of operation. These furnaces comprise a furnace body which is hinged and split into two halves along its length. This makes exchange of work tubes easier and also enables the furnace to be used with reactors or work tubes where end flanges would make insertion into a non-split furnace difficult. This design is particularly suitable for incorporation into extension test and creep test apparatus. This range of tube furnace includes an integral work tube which is either quartz, metal, 99.5% or 80% Alumina depending on end application. For high vacuum operation upto 1100 C quartz or metal work tube is preferred. The work tube length is dependent on the application like for use with modified atmosphere or vacuum.The use of a separate work tube has the advantage of protecting the heating elements from damage or contamination. The multi zone tube furnaces offer excellent uniformity which results from division of the heated length into multiple zones, each with its own controller and thermocouple.

    These vertical split tube furnaces have a maximum operating temperature of 1600 and 1700 °C. The split heating furnace allows for easy positioning of the work tube and if required positioning around reactor work tube which have fixed end flanges. The split design also also allow faster cooling of samples. The control thermocouple is fitted in the centre of the heating zone. Cooling channels are designed into the furnace housing to ensure air cooling of the outer case. As with other antsProsys vertical split furnaces, the insulation boards are light weight, energy efficient and shaped in interlocking fashion by CNC machining. The interlocking design feature ensures zero radiation loss even after years of operation. The heating elements are vertically hanging MoSi2 heating elements. The furnace is equipped with a safety switch to protect the operator by switching off the power supply to heating elements once the furnace is opened. The tube furnace can be supplied with or without a stand, allowing users to build them into their own custom equipment. Such furnace are used for application like annealing, carbonization, crystal growth, rebinding, degassing, drying, hardening, metal injection molding (MIM), pyrolysis, rapid prototyping, sintering, sublimation, synthesis, tempering, gasification studied, intruding.
